Welcome to the Summer 2008
Session of
the Distance Learning
Section of CS-652,
Network
Architecture and Protocols
************** Announcement ******************
This Saturday (August 2nd) we will have the final
exam.
The material for the exam is the
one of lectures 7,9,10,11,12, 13; that is, in order to better
prepare for the final, the
material of lecture 8 will
not be part of the final exam.
The exam will be
held at 9.30 AM
in GITC 1400; note
that
GITC is the building
of the CS Department.
(Click on NJIT-maps
if you are not that familiar with the campus)
You can park at the NJIT parking deck; simply
mention
that you are coming
for the Distance Learning CS-652 exam)
This is a closed
book closed notes exam; no aid sheet is allowed.
Packet formats that may be needed
in
answering questions will be provided in
the last page of the exam; in a
similar way
with the posted sample midterm exam.
Non-programmable calculators are
allowed.
Programmable calculators,
cell-phone
calculators, PDAs are NOT allowed.
Make sure that you have brought a
calculator
because you will not be allowed
to borrow one.
The exam time is 3 hours; it is also written on the exam paper.
Certainly, you are not allowed to leave the examination room and come back.
Make sure that you have a photo
ID with
you (driver license, passport, etc.)
because, otherwise, you may not be
allowed to
take the exam.
It is extremely
important that you practice with the closed book/closed notes
exam format. So I highly recommend
that you
try to answer the posted sample
questions, Qz2, and final
without
looking at the answers.
