- Retention (2016 to 2017) - 89% for the BS in CS and 100% for the BA in CS.
(The NJIT rate is 88%.)
The 2015 to 2016 retention was 90%, the 2014 to 2015 was 92%, and the 2013 to 2014 was 88%.
- Graduation rates (2010 to 2017) - 63%.
(NJIT average is 61%.)
The 2010 to 2017 graduation rates for the BS in CS was 63% (vs
a College average of 63% and NJIT average of 61%).
The 2009 to 2015 graduation rates for the BS in CS was 55% (vs
a College average of 52% and NJIT average of 61%).
The 2008 to 2014 graduation rates for the BS in CS was 60% (vs
a College average of 55% and NJIT average of 59%).
The 2007 to 2013 graduation rates for the BS in CS was 52% (vs
a College average of 49% and NJIT average of 58%).
- SAT average scores (2013) - 622 (Math) and 544 (Verbal).
SAT average scores in 2010: 610 (Math) and 546 (Verbal).

43 with Bachelor (11.6% women vs 12.9% national average),
115 with master's (27% women vs 22.6% national average) and
9 with PhD degrees (44% women vs 17.8% national average).

New Students (Fall 2015 and Fall 2014)
- Fall 2015
- Undergraduate Students - 92 first-time full-time freshmen (FTFTF) , 78 transfer students
and 7 readmits in the BS in Computer Science. (Note that admissions requirements have changed in
Fall 2013; students who would otherwise be admitted directly for the BS in CS are now addmitted into
the College with major selection to be made after the freshman year: there are 67 Undecided student.)
- Graduate Students (Master's and Doctoral levels) FTF) 231 for the MS in CS and 16 new PhD
students for the PhD in CS.
- The College (CCS) admitted 205 new Freshmen, 23 Readmits, 167 Transfer students, 400 Master's
students and 17 PhD students. The majority of them are headed towards computer science.
- Fall 2014
- Undergraduate Students - 99 first-time full-time freshmen (FTFTF) , 74 transfer students
and few readmits in the BS in Computer Science. (Note that admissions requirements have changed in
Fall 2013; students who would otherwise be admitted directly for the BS in CS are now addmitted into
the College with major selection to be made after the freshman year.)
